Open PvP and Exp %

I never liked this "feature". I thought (and still think) that it's a bad cover up for missing PvP content.
Now i just saw that Blizzard is doing exactly the same with the new add on for WoW.
So maybe SotA was more progressive here than i expected.

 

Hasnt WoW always had PVP worlds where it was open PVP between factions, or is their Open PvP completely different than that?

 

Yes, you are correct.
But with the ned add on they actually change the system to pretty much what we have here.
There will be no more pvp servers. You can opt in to pvp on every server, get an %exp reward, some kind of bounty system and so on.

Well of course they are doing much more stuff beside. But the underlying system is pretty similar to what we have here.
(disclaimer: i never said that i think it's a good idea. I just read the info and though "Höhö....funny". It's more like.....a pice of trivia as entertainment to the SotA community ^^)

Since launch most of the PvP types do not stay flagged. Ask them why.

 

So I can just fire up my alts and kill them over and over again to get xp and the new pvp currency? I haven't seen anything on the new systems but will I be able to do this?

Still there is 10% bonus for being flagged.
New pvp currency are obtainable just attending the obsidian trial from R56, and you can buy potions (usable just in obsidian trials) and titles or cosmetic stuffs related to pvp.
