Oracle Door

For the love of all that is right in the world can we please, please, please adjust the door timer on the Oracle building (Player owned towns).

Currently, I go it, I say "test" and the door closes. Forcing me to then turn around and open it to leave. Seriously, If the timer was just a few seconds longer, I could answer the question, get my reward and get out without having to reopen the door.

That's what I do.

But yeah it's a PITA.

 

This annoys my questing alt far more than my crafter

 

It might come to the point where the door won't open at all. You'll say, "open the door, Oracle". And it will reply, "I'm afraid I can't do that, Avatar".

 

Remove the door! Door is unnecessary!

 

The door is for privacy. You need the door so you don't have people snooping in on you telling the Oracle you've been naughty about something.

Honestly, I don't know what is so hard about mousing over the door and hitting "e" once you turn around to leave the oracle.

Still, I think the entire door auto-close timer on all auto-close doors is too short.

 

My favorite is the Etceter bank. It has an auto-closing door, but the two NPC vendors upstairs have an obsessive door close behavior. The door closes while they're on their long way downstairs to close it, then when they finally reach the door, they turn around and go back upstairs.

The blacksmith guy near the Central Brittany docks has this behavior too (trying to close an auto-close door) but at least he's right there and closes it faster than it would have on its own.

 

There is an NPC in Aerie who if you open the shop door, he comes running from the neighboring tavern to close it.
I always have to open that door when I run past it.
