    For those of us who like playing games but do not write code for a living, how do I tell what my FPS rate is at any given time? Apologies in advance for the shocking degree of ignorance this reveals.

    In the in-game chat box, type: /fps

    You'll see the current framerate displayed at the top of your screen.

    Good alternative, especially if you want to see your fps across other games or applications ;)

    Hehe and thanks, Retro! Here's the large version. It's me cosplaying Ranma Saotome from the anime Ranma 1/2 at Dragon Con 2011 with Mr. Garriott right after an autograph and a small chat about his "Ultimate RPG" project. I was pestering him about full loot PVP and bounty systems! :eek: hehe
