Has anybody been able to harvest any resources from Oysters?

I've noticed that, in North Celestial Wetlands at least, they don't seem to be working.

Yes, but it is very infrequent.

Those nodes tend to be depleted more often than not.

This was my experience in south celestial. While running around I saw maybe 20 nodes but only 1 was harvestable.

They drop black pearls upon harvest and increase your harvesting skills. They look white & open when harvested, grey and closed when reset. People often harvest them because you can sell the pearls at the reagent shops.

It's a deliberate tactic by the devs to keep our libidos down. Too many frisky adventures running around might cause population problems and itchy diseases.
