Many textures look really flat. For example many ground textures or the walls of caves. Is it planned to add parallax/bump mapping to the textures to make them look more "realistic" and give them more structure and depth?

Also what about wet, shiny or reflecting surfaces?

The last screenshot shows Tessellation - i only know The Secret World (from MMO genre) what uses Tessellation.
But better Mapping and Shader would be great ;)

( ... and better lights, shadows, fire, flames, effects, textures, ... *g*)

    Wonderful rendering techniques.

But remember, they come at a cost.

Are you ready to watch gorgeously rendered terrain and live, deep textures... At 10 FPS?

There are a lot of great games out there with gorgeous graphics and more than 10 FPS ;)
Tessellation is absolutly fantastic - but no must-have
Better textures (texture & normal) light and shadows and other effects (like flames, torches, magic, etc) would be desirable :p

Such graphical features could be made optional in the graphics menu so that people with PCs that are not so powerful can turn them off. But people whose PCs are capable of using such features with the game still having good framerates should not be stuck with a game that does not use those features.

Also even MMOs can look great:

I'm not saying that SotA needs to look like a AAA game but it should look good and if adding more shaders and effects like wet, shiny or reflective surfaces and parallax mapping can make the game look much better then it should be added.

Not only AAA-titles looking good - there are a lot of indie-titles with amazing graphics!
