Path of Love quest - Malice

So, I have the far gate key and apparently my quest was split. I had two paths that I think are now caught up to one another. I previously went to the far gate and into malice, now i need to get back and cant find a way back.

I have the far gate key, anyone know where i would go to get back over there?

 

I'd like to know too. I tried the front door of malice but ultimately couldn't get past the barrier. I cleared out all the side passages but couldn't find any secrets to help me out. I tried around the back too but got stuck on a terrain feature; three red spiders and a skeleton archer took me out. My ghost was still stuck.
