Pattern Replacement ?

    If I craft a pattern on an item that already has one, will the new pattern be applied? If so, would the old pattern be destroyed?

    I don't know but I would guess its like that of Gem's where if there is already one present you can't replace. Meaning you would most likely have to salvage to get your pattern back losing the item in the process. I am sure someone will confirm.

    The pattern is destroyed when you do the reshape. The equipment reshaped by an eternal pattern however will yield the eternal pattern back. You can easily double check by hover on the equipment, if it says "Salvage Yields: Eternal...", then you will get that eternal pattern back from 2nd reshape. If it's not eternal, then you won't get it back.
