Pet necklace fails to update after losing pet

If a pet dies, and you don't resurrect it in time, your necklace will still say that it is bound to the pet until such a time as you leave the scene. This caused me a bit of confusion, as I attempted to resurrect it repeatedly to no avail, and then found after leaving the scene that in fact my pet was lost to me.
