Soon... one more shall be added!
gotcha, sorry, took me a moment to catch on there
That's quite a collection! Now I regretted not keeping my UO map
Not shown (because I found one soon after) is the UO/UO:T2A combined cloth map also part of my collection. Aside from the (rather expensive) Ultima I re-release cloth map and the also-rare Ultima Forever cloth map, I have all of the Sosaria/Britannia maps. I skipped 2 and 8 because they are not Sosaria/Britannia.
Also... update from today (July 17th) Standup:
Rick Holtrop: Shipping updates & CS & Forums & R56 planning & Livestream & Sales
No, it doesn't say exactly what is happening or where we are in the process, but it IS being worked on.
So if we have to pay extra to get our physical items shipped to us, where do we have to do it? I checked the online store and couldn't find the aforementioned international shipping.
Main Page => Store => Game Services => International Shipping
SO now I have further questions. The item says:
If you live outside of the United States and have physical goods coming your way, this is required to cover your shipping costs.
Please check your user Account Page in the 'Add-Ons, etc.' section to see if you already have an International Shipping voucher. If so, you're good to go! If not, please purchase this to ensure your items arrive without delay."
So do I or do I not need this to get items shipped to me in America?
@DarkStarr , some clarification here would be fantastic.
Do you live outside the United States?
Still we are 17 says past the delivery date and no word shipping? A delivery date of June 30th implies a shipping date well before that to reach international customers. We should have had an update on shipping well before now. This is not a very positive customer service experience.
You're correct... It's not a good customer experience, and some word would be good. I asked the question as one of my question submissions for the Livestream on Friday.
You do, however, have a factual error ... The Shipping Date was to have been prior to the end of Q2, NOT the delivery date:
If you're going to lawyer them, Bro, at least be accurate.
Your claim could make it appear you're engaging in intentional over-statement of the problem and hyperbole to make the issue seem more severe than it is... But I'm sure what actually happened is you simply failed to recall the statement accurately and didn't think to check your facts.
Well if you are going to "discipline" him for layering, Bro, at least be accurate: Packages from western Europe to the US (and other way around) take 11 days (I do it regularly) if you don't pay anything for express shipping etc. Not even talking about how long it should take within the US (or within EU if it's true that they are being shipped from France), which of course should be way less than that. So if they were keeping their word we would have at least one "YAY I got my physical rewards" thread here. They are at the very least 7 days over their promised timeline and that is the best case scenario if they for some reason do international shipping first.
So yes, telling us that they could not keep the promise would be the right thing to do.
good, the right thing to do.
I recommend that you do NOT get it until you absolutely know that you need it. Especially if you are in the U.S.
I wasn't 'disciplining' him... I have no ability to discipline anyone... I was correcting a factual error in his statement. I quoted the original source... It was an accurate correction.
Thank you for the information. I'm now better educated. However, as the original promise did not include shipping time to the US or Europe, the information while interesting has no relevance to the conversation.
I agree with this statement 100%. Furthermore, it shouldn't have taken them more than 2 weeks past their latest advertised shipping date in the R55 Instructions to tell us about further delays.
This was published on the 27th of June:
Had they been able to do as they claimed, they would have only missed their advertised date by no more than a few days... For which they still would have been crucified... There is no excuse, knowing how hot a topic this is for many, not to have announced the further delay sooner.
Personally, I have no fear that I won't be getting what I'm owed... The timeline makes very little difference to me, and I'm of the opinion that many of those who profess dismay over the timeline are often disingenuous... They do need to start communicating better. If for no other reason than this type of thing is High Calorie, Dense and Savory Troll Food.
You gotta get the Pagan map. Your collection is not complete!!
Excuses ? When they had a few years to plan the shipping ?
I don't mind about the wait but pls, don't give me excuses for missing the shipping date.
This is not something new, they litteraly had years to do it.
But yet...they missed it.
And, in the grand scheme of things, the only material effect it has is to provide more fodder for the naysayers.
Would you rather have has shoddy product on time, or quality product late?
