Please allow pet food to work for summoned pets

    Hello,

    I just feel that summoned pets are at a significant disadvantage already:

    • There's no gear or sets, enchantments, or artifacts that benefit them (that I have ever seen).
    • You have to be willing to train high levels in schools of magic you don't intend to use to gain a variety of them
    • You only really get to see the benefits of them if you take that school's spec, so at best you'll really only ever use one, maybe two if you spec in sun.
      • Even then, with air spec, Air Elementals don't seem to do anything when summoned. I could be mistaken, but I've run a DPS meter and it doesn't even register as doing any damage to anything.
      • Really hoping this is just a bug of some kind.

    Considering these observations, I think also excluding summoned pets from gaining the benefits of food just makes using them instead of the tamed pets just too unattractive. I know summoned pets will never be as strong as tamed pets, and that's probably fine, but I really feel they should at least be close. Ideally I would love to see a set and/or item bonuses that benefit summoned pets, but at the very least can they please get the benefits from food or have their own "foods" created for them?
