    Actually from the telethon (Twitch) Chris mentioned that the servers and costs associated were very little and could be maintained for a long time on a low budget.

    That's mainly because it's a peer to peer model. Which is also sometimes why scene performance is bad unfortunately.

    I was not aware they were using peering tech short of patches. All the more reason to get more player base :)

    If you look in the patcher settings - anyone whos used bittorrent will recognise the options. :)

    There's a difference between p2p in the patcher and p2p in the game. But I think they use both.
