Port Titan's entrance

Why is it that nearly every patch the entrance to Port Titan changes? It's starting to get a bit annoying and causing people to leave. Is there a long term plan to change the town or do we just not have a good entrance/exit and so a lot of experimentation is being done?

 

The entrance spawned right on my house last release. I have gone through great pains to ensure that it spawns on my house again this release.

A lot of time and effort went into decorating my lot. If it moves again, I want to be compensated.

 

Been in four different locations, to my knowledge, in the last couple of weeks. It's getting rather silly that I never know quite where in my home town I will be when I go back there, and confusing since as houses are added the whole 'look' of the place keeps changing too!

 

Love your spot by the way, seeing your little waiting area made appearing right there slightly more tolerable.

 

Sometimes when you teleport out of a scene and then teleport back to it later, it drops you in the last place you were. It might not be that the entrance is changing, just the last place you were in the scene.

 

I leave via the boat every single time. And others who live in Port Titan whom I know IRL also are appearing in these new spots.

edit: I should also state that Rook Strife's picture isn't coincidental, it's the new spot for who knows how long.

 

I wonder if the long term solution wouldn't be to put Port Titan on an island (but keep the layout the same) and make the entrance the docks like it had been for a long time.

 

I always leave by walking out from the north entrance - not the most time efficient option, but it's just what I do Where I come back in, though... for a few days it'll consistently be one location, then the next few consistently somewhere else, and so on...

 

Have you submitted a bug report? Because that doesn't sound right. Maybe there is another explanation, like it is responding as a pvp zone would and varying location.

While it took a little longer than expected, I have once again secured the entrance to Port Titan.



The movers broke both of my antique vases and dinged my trunk. The particulars are in your bill.

I have also transferred you the cost of the damage to my old lot.

If I didn't have to move, that candlestick would never have tipped over and burned my neighbors castle to the ground.
