Problems with update... Could I get some help?

    Hi All,

    I'm having issues updating the client in order to hop on R8 to PvP. Everytime I launch, It says "unable to update - please reinstall or try again. So I've reinstalled and the same issue occurs. Has this happened to anyone else and how was is fixed?

    Sorry to hear about that, can't say I've experienced this particular issue but I would recommend checking any firewall / antivirus software your running as it sounds like it may be blocking communication to the server. In addition in the SOTA launcher try turning off "help upload game data via P2P" see if that helps.

    I had this same problem last night when I re-installed the client. I had to run through that loop of messages 3 or 4 times and then it fired up.
