I got these back in the day as a charity item, and am using them finally, but something about their contrast level or color is making them seem too 'bright' compared to the other trees? This could just be how the color is supposed to look, but something seems a little off perhaps?

Yes but however, if you wanted to brighten a property to give the appearance of being specially "lit up", I'd say they're just the thing!
If you'd like to trade for some other type of trees, I have "MANY" availible, as puzzle trees are a bit hard to come by.

they are pretty bright, but placing them in northwood with the old-style trees from before speedtrees isn't a good comparison. the old trees are very dark compared to most of the new ones, not just the puzzles.

Good point, I didn't realize the darkness of the old trees vs new trees until now.

This is a good point also! I'll need to find some new trees that fit better.
