Question about POT entry points....

Three of us guildies were running around Novia this eve, when the subject of POT templates came up - and for whatever reason we started talking about the Tropical Island POT Template - and it dawned on me that I'd never seen one.

So we went to Hometown and took a boat to see it.

I don't want to comment on how much I liked or didn't like it, since @SeleneNoctua did such a good job with her critique - (I wouldn't have been quite as harsh, but she did make some good points) .

I'm now seriously contemplating purchasing a POT (while I still can) and need some confirmation regarding POT entry location.

The Tropical Island POT template's current entry point is quite a distance from where I'd want to locate my home - if I had this template.

So, here's my question:

Have we been assured that we WILL be able to set our desired entry points in the future, and if so - exactly WHEN ?

It will make the buying decision easier for me.

 

officially on the roadmap. no more info on when other than post-wipe.

 

So, it could be a year out ?

I myself had a little walk about and found that it seems that many overland POTs entry point are very far away from any civilisation. I found this very off putting .However word has it that now you can designate an entry point, which I found many newer POTS had and made me lean towards my decision to purchase my own POT.
