Question about the Tactics Innate - Offhand Power

I have a question about what it takes to raise an innate and - so you guys don't have to go to the trouble of opening your Tactics Tree - I've taken the liberty of including a handy screenshot of the Tactics Innate - Offhand Power.



As you can see, this innate increases the damage from Offhand Attack - and it will gain when a relevant skill is used.

My question is this:

Of all the skills in all of the trees, what is (should) be considered relevant for a gain in Offhand Power ?

 

Actually if you have 2 weapons equipped auto attack will raise it (probably others as well, but I can confirm auto attack does).

Basically whenever your offhand swings it will raise.

 

@FrostII How do you go 82 levels and have no idea what raises it?

Heheh. I kid! I kid! Obviously could be more than auto-attack, but most of those wouldn't apply until after you've actually acquired an off-hand attack.

 

The actives right below it would also boosts it's skill level (as they are all directly related to offhand attack or defense). Possibly double thrust might (as its two attacks, which might use both hands, but I'd have to test to confirm). Potentially, shield skills might even help boost it for things like bash.

 

I don't recall saying I had no idea what raised it.
I'm looking for feedback from people who are currently raising the skill.
Notice I included "what should" raise it.
I know what I have observed and mostly wanted to begin a conversation about that innate and the "relevant" skill nomenclature, and it seems not many are using it by the response here.
Either that or they're just not interested in responding.

Thank you for bringing this up as I picked up the skill but have no idea what to do with it

I'll try the shield bash skill and see if it raises the innate at all.
