I made a new character and kept track of my quests in the starting area. For some reason after Robert and I manage to fight our way all the way across the bridge and to the nailed shut gate and the boat, The quest pops up that I have to talk to Edvard.

We left Edvard on the other side of the bridge. Whey would I or anyone go back there at a time like this? Edvard gave me the key when we first met him. There is no reason to go back over there.

But, I dont get the boat quest from Robert until I go all the way back to Edvard and pat him on the back.
