Do you typically run SotA with 1 - or more than 1 - monitor?
I run SotA on my main monitor and I keep the IRC and my twitch chat open on screen two.
Hmm I thought that SotA didn't support dual monitors?
But I haven't even tried, based on that assumption.
Does it work? Is it worth it?
Heck if I could have the GFX view in one monitor and all the chat/inventory/skills/etc views on the other that would be great.
For the purpose of this poll, do you ask if we have more monitors, or if we use more monitors with SotA? More specifically, would you consider an Oculus Rift as a monitor? My answer will depend on your answer.
Typically I run it on one monitor (when I play with just one account), but I use other monitor for irc and such
I have 3... a 40" central monitor in landscape flanked by 2 24" monitors in portrait orientation. I run games on the central monitor and have the other two available for other applications.
Currently have a dual monitor setup. SotA runs in a window or windowed fullscreen on one monitor and whatever else I need at the time on the other monitor. I rarely game in exclusive fullscreen mode any more.
Currently I run 1 LG 34in Ultrawide for SotA and other games. Yes, SotA runs in an immersive 3440x1440 resolution.
Better step up my game...2 monitors? I still patch through an old 19" black and white tv.... who can afford 6 kids and 2 monitors??
I would love for SotA to support 2+ monitors.. or.. if UI elements could be placed on the desktop.. I would have the game on one monitor and some UI on the other.
I never play anything full screen either if I can help it.
IRC one monitor, SotA on another and wiki on the third!
Well, since SotA currently does not support dragging elements outside of the game window, I was simply curious as to how many of us "gamers" currently use 2 or more monitors.
Regarding your second question, I would indeed consider an Oculus Rift as a "monitor" (and would love to test one out sometime).....
Hope I answered your questions........
Correct, it does not support dragging anything outside the game window. My question was more of a curious one on my part - simply wondered how many of you routinely have 2 or more monitors up at once....
Indeed it would, Spoon, indeed it would......
Would love to see SotA in that resolution...... My system upgrade will be happening soon. On the one hand I can't wait to see SotA run with something like a GTX 970, on the other hand - migrating all my "stuff" to a new system is a pita..........
You did! Then two monitors for me. But SotA does weird stuff with the DK2.
Well, they both are projects in development, soooo.....
Two but only cause SLI isn't supported yet! Lol
I have 2 24" monitors, and can run SOTA so it's on both monitors simultaneously, but the seam between the two is distracting (avatar usually positioned more or less in the middle of the two screens) so I usually only run the game on a single monitor. But it is impressive when seen across double screens.
Get a third monitor!
Only have 1 monitor here.
