Quick swap of torch / weapon

Sorry about the noob questions, but what is the easiest way to switch between a torch and a weapon? Also, is there a way to lock the melee hotbar so that it always shows?

Final question, how do you select between the melee hotbar and the non-melee utility hotbar for associated slots?

 

Quick switch between 2 decks would be possible for the torch. You may need to associate a key to quick swap deck in the options Menue keybindings.

Options Interface menu you can lock the combat bar.

While in combat you can use some skills and potions associated to the non-combat bar with shift+number key.
I use poison and potions that way.
