R41 looks washed out?

    As everyone noticed that in R40 the graphics got a nice upgrade with a more cartoonish color style.
    But in R41 the game looks again trying to do a more realistic look.

    Anyone noticed that too?

    Does it have anything to do with the Saturation slider on the video option?
