Received boots from Preben, but the boots are not in my inventory.

Title: Received boots from Preben, but no boots in my inventory.

Details:After completing the quest from Preben, it states that I have received the boots of truth, but they are not in my inventory.
Steps to Reproduce: Get in a party of seven or eight members, go talk to Preben and then his automation, talk to Preben again to receive the boots of truth. I did this and it informed me that I received the boots, but I did not. So I decided to log out of the game completely and returned but still no boots. In my compass it shows a blue quest icon and states to speak to Preben. I spoke to him again and the automation and again with Preben and still there were no boots in my inventory.
