Release 50 skill reset question.

    I was wondering how long we have to reset our skills with release 50. I am asking because the game still has quite a bit of balancing ahead of it and I didn't want to drop skill up something that later gets need before release.

    Can I wait a few months before I start my skill gains over?

    they aren't offering a skill reset. they're changing the xp you get on untrain to 100%. you still have to sit there and actually untrain what you want to.

    This means we can literally try everything we want until launch. Just unlearn something and use that xp to test new weapons, spells, etc.

    Generally those are set for 1 release only when changes happen to a skill or tree that could make someone regret their choices. Haven’t heard if they’re extending it until release.

    So, just to be 100% positive on this, release 50 will allow players to untrain skills at 100% return rate? To untrain a skill, we have to set the skill "arrow" to pointing down, and use the skill to convert the xp from the skill back into the general pool? And this is good for the entirety of release 50? @Berek ?

    You dont have to use your unlearning (down arrow) skill to see going down, use the skill you want to learn/train and the xp will move from the unlearning skill to your training skill :)

    hey @Chris Will items of unlearning also give the 100% return, to save time from actively unlearning a skill?

    To paraphrase Chris on Jan 10 via his daily blog, all combat skills will be 100% unlearn in R50 and likely remain as 100% up until launch due to many changes planned for combat skills. No new information has been said by Chris, so keep an eye out on his daily blog which is more infrequent due to workload.
