remove pool penality when falling...

just lost 100.000 of pool falling from a castle (safefall skill not working in this release) .. i think that reducing experience falling in a non-combat scene in not combat-mode is not right.

i'm asking developers to reduce reduction of pool experience in this cases.

this thing stop me to play all the day.. just remembering how i hate this pool reduction on game... i lost all morning fight experience in 1 seconds.. just jocking with friend.

But I really understand you! It isn't a great thing loosing XP by accident ...
Well, if a connected skill would be treaten with a small loss I would understand, but all the XP pool?

The XP pool is, as I understand, to prevent unfair playing and upskilling. In my opinion it promotes XP loss in a unfair way for honest players ...

hehe, simple solution don't do things that will get you killed that said I don't think they can change it without changing all the mechanics in game. Death by falling is based on height you fall from. We did some testing with various sized rock formations etc to see and it looks like its all calculated from a height formula. you can however get rings and other items to reduce fall damage etc.

 

yes.. and maybe stop playing a game because is like real life... better to play real life.

BTW... on previous release i can fall from castle without die... i died yesterday beacuse the safe-fall skill is NOT WORKING.

i nice damage formula need to be related to player weight and carry capacity also...

a player that can move 1000 of weight .. and it's completely empty (like <100) .. can fall from 4 meters without any issue... same player with 1000 of weight (weapons/carcasses...etc etc etc) need to lose 70% of life...

 

How high is your safefall skill? because it isnt a guarantee you dont take damage its a reduce damage, maybe dont take damage skill

 

my safefall is 43.. i have this value because this was the value i need to not die falling from a castle.

 

With the upcoming doubling of decay, this is going to suck twice as much.

 

I do not agree. I kill myself by falling to start my day knowing ill die atleast once, farming as hard as i can. There is no reason to easy mode this game any more than it is.

That's pretty silly. If I die, fine but if I don't then I don't lose that experience. I'm certainly not going to just waste that experience.

 

I have 80 and I can still take a good bunch of damage from jumping off a castle!

 

I kinda agree with this now after losing 80K xp dinking around in the new serps spine zone. Lots and lots of highs there and with the amount of hitching we have at time, it can get pretty dangerous.

I fall from a bridge in Blood Bay from a Air Elementel Gust, dead and huge exp. lost.
On the other side i can't kick enemys from bridges/walls with Gust, a invisible wall protecs them.
