repair items?

was wondering how you get your items up to max durability again?

eg i have a meteoric 2h that went from 150 max dura to 130 is there a way to get it back up to 150?

also how do you repair items in common?

there is 2 types of repair. The number on the left is your average repair to your present MAX capability ( MAX is on the right ) and this is done at a station ( blacksmith for metal , carpentry for wood items, etc...)
The second number ( the one of the right ) is your MAX durability and needs a Crown to be added to re-build it back up to new again..

Think of the two like a battery. you got a potential daily charge and then you got the MAX charge that you get when the battery is NEW.. after a while it fades till you can no longer charge it. Except in SOTA you can bring back an item to new again..

You can get crowns by random drops ( VERY VERY rare drops ) ( This needs to be balanced out still ) OR you can buy them in the add on store..

You claim these rewards at the in-game Bank.

You can also look at the public marketplace vendor in towns or at private players' vendors and purchase them for in-game gold.

 

so how would i repair it at a blacksmith? put meteoric ingot on station and sword?

can you perhaps explain a little more since im new here

To repair items like ( armor, weapons, cloaks ) you can get "Repair kits " at the NPC vendors. To use them just drag and Drop them onto the desired item you wish to repair.
FOR MAX durability repair you go to a crafting station ( eg.. Armor would be blacksmith ) and put the piece you want to repair + repair kit + crown.

NOTE: ( I have tried the new MAX durability myself ) so if I am wrong plz forgive me

 

If they didn’t changed it this are the possibilities:

item you want to repair + repair kit (drag and drop) = reparing item (small repair)
fitting crafting station + item you want to repair + repair kit = reparing item
fitting crafting station + item you want to repair + crown = restoring durability

I think a repair kit wasn’t necessary for restoring durability and even hindered this process.
