[Repro needed] Blind & Bosses

1. Title: Blind doesn't work correctly?
2. Reproduction Rate: 100%
3. Blocker?
4. Details: In attempt to reduce my glancing blows(reduced dmg). If I blind any boss those glancing blows turn into misses(0 dmg). Works as intended?
5. Steps to Reproduce: Blind a boss and smack it. ( adv lvl 108, dex 90 ) Doesn't matter what weapon.

I am not able to repro just yet, but I may not be doing this the same way you were. I've tried various weapons.
Can you give me a test case? What you were using, what boss, etc. I will see the debuff on the mob but no zero damage is in the log...

 

@Lexie - What he's describing is that instead of seeing glancing blows on the boss, he's now only seeing "misses" (and this is what he means by zero damage). Basically what were glancing blows before using blind have simply turned into misses after using blind is what he's saying. What you'd be looking for in a combat log would be glancing blows vs misses before and after blind is applied.

 

@Trihugger Right, but it seems I am doing something wrong as I am not seeing that behavior. At least not yet. So I thought if I tried it the same way they were doing it, perhaps I could repro it then.

 

Gotcha. I never saw any real benefit when using blind myself and haven't used it in quite a few releases so I can't act as anything more than a translator. Sorry @Lexie I'm not of more use!
