[Known]Eastreach Gap North gate wont open...

1. Title: Inactive gate
2. Reproduction Rate: multiuser only tried it once
3. Blocker? yes
4. Details: you cannot open the gate at the north end of eastreach gap, tried the E key and double clicking, was another avatar there as well and he had been trying for 5 minutes without sucess in multiuser mode. Incidentally I killed a skeleton mage and couldn't loot the body, so I'm assuming the two are linked.
5. Steps to Reproduce: only tried once
6. User Specs: i7 12GB gtx660ti SSD multiuser

This trap is a bit deadly if you get jumped by several high level skellys and cant get out.

 

I just had the same issue with the South east gate. Had to quit and re-log outside the gate.

 

Likewise. In addition my partner was not able to loot, despite getting a green loot arrow. After awhile I was not able to loot, but could harvest.

 

We are unable to reproduce this internally on what will be patch 622. Please verify if this issue continues to occur in or after patch 622 is published. Thank you.

 

Just passed through East Reach Gap north gate okay in patch 622.

Details:
Unable to break the gate at Loc: (-197.3, 128.9, -139.8)

Things tried after the gate got into the malfunctional state:
-Exiting to Menu and Resuming did not help.
-Dying and resurrecting did not help.
-Equipping a different weapon to the 'Main Hand' slot did not help.
-Toggling between the Non-Combat Mode and the Combat Mode did not help.
-Changing from Beautiful to Fastest did not help.

-Start on World Map

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Play with Beautiful
2) Enter Eastreach Gap from the Desolis side of the Overland map (Area: Novia (Novia) Loc: (440.1, 18.7, -84.1))
3) Try to break the gate at (-197.3, 128.9, -139.8) by pressing 'E' or double-clicking

(between these two threads, we have a lot of reproductions of this bug, on many different configurations.)

 

We have discovered a repro case for the bug observed, and are working on a resolution. It appears that break conditions are observed if loading into a scene that has an interactive gate that was previously in an open/opening active state. Bug ID: 47937
