[Repro needed] Options/Interface/Show Player Health Bar has No Effect

Details: Checking the Options/Interface/Show Player Health Bar checkbox does not result in the health bar being shown over the avatar. The avatar name appears and behaves as expected when pressing the "N" key and checking or unchecking the Options/Interface/Show Player Nameplate checkbox.
Steps to Reproduce: Check and uncheck the Options/Interface/Show Player Health Bar checkbox .

I am not able to repro this. Weird. The health bar was over my head without having to press N after repeated attempts.

Lexie, I have bumped into this problem as well for the past few releases. I cannot speak for others, but for me, it only happens when I am "buffed up", buffs run out and then rebuff. It's almost like the health bar gets "stuck".

 

Never mind. I was on the overland map. It works in scenes. I didn't have it checked when I was in the Lost Vale. I left the Vale and thought, "hey, I'll turn it on". I just verified such behavior on live and here in QA. I'd delete the thread, but it has some replies now.

 

I can confirm this. The option "Show Player Health Bar" has no effect. I would assume, unchecking it would hide the Player Health bar, but that's not the case. The player health bar is always in the left top corner.

 

I think we're all talking about a few different things here...
@Traveller13 If you were on the overworld, that would make sense. It won't appear there
