    Yes, I have a cell phone and a computer clock, and a watch in real life.

    But man do I wish I had an in-game clock that would tell me what time it is on Earth. This would give me one less reason to leave the game world and whatever immerssion I have built for myself.

    An Hour Glass that tells Earth time would be my preference. ;)

    MSI- Afterburner can do that for you if your interested: http://gaming.msi.com/features/afterburner you can choose what to display/ where to display it, in a transparent view port. FPS, CPU/GPU temp, sys time, etc...

    Otherwise I would prefer the in-game time, so I can find the crafting/harvesting windows better...

    I'd prefer not to have a clock that gives Earth time. Why would we have such a thing? I don't need to leave the game to tell what time it is. Leaving window mode aside for a moment.. I've got my phone sitting on my desk.. and microwave with the time over my shoulder. There's at least two other clocks in the house. Clocks everywhere.

    Yeah, kind of strange to see Earth time displayed, but sure...the game has already broken the fourth wall with the Aetheric Amplifier. The compass is currently automagically showing the date and period of the day, but it's unclear if they plan on giving any further granularity than that.

    "PeriodOfDay_Midnight": "Midnight", (12:00 am)
    "PeriodOfDay_LateNight": "Late Night", (3:00 am)
    "PeriodOfDay_Dawn": "Dawn", (6:00 am)
    "PeriodOfDay_Morning": "Morning", (9:00 am)
    "PeriodOfDay_Midday": "Midday", (12:00 pm)
    "PeriodOfDay_Afternoon": "Afternoon", (3:00 pm)
    "PeriodOfDay_Dusk": "Dusk", (6:00 pm)
    "PeriodOfDay_Evening": "Evening" (9:00 pm)

    But if they do and give us a real in-game clock, perhaps we can get some device (or skill) that can convert to Earth time and display that?

    We'll certainly get clocks and maybe even a pocket watch for in-game time. We've had pocket watches and grandfather clocks since at least Ultima VI if not longer. The tech is in the world.

    And to be clear.. I'm not so much opposed to the idea itself as it's optional. I'd just rather the devs put the energy elsewhere.
