    Title: Adventurer level randomly drops
    Reproduction Rate: 1/1
Blocker? Sort of, everything can kill me easily now
Details: Went through Entrance to Graff Gem Mines and noticed that enemies were yellow to me instead of the usual green. Inside the mine itself notice I've lost 200 HP. Checked adventurer level with /stats and "AdventurerLevel: 39" - earlier today I was 90.
Steps to Reproduce: Not clear, went from Vauban Pass, into two roaming encounters and straight out and then into the entrance scene
    User Specs:
    OS: Linux 4.11 Fedora 24 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4) System RAM: 32098

Holy cow!!!! Another reason we need to monitor adv level on the play screen. Is this the first time this has happened? I am going to have to keep an eye on this myself... it may answer some of the mysterious goings on in my gameplay.

First time it's happened to me, it did happen to another player in my guild at the weekend.

+1 on this, I found that by quitting to my desktop and restarting fixed the problem, but it certainly had me freaked for a bit when I went from lvl 67 to lvl 44.

My gut instinct thinks that maybe offline mode is carrying over some UI aspects (purely UI aspects)
You guys have offline mode only characters around that level?

I have not played an offline char since before the release a few months back where we were told the offline progress would be getting wiped if we didn't load and save. Certainly I've never really done anything offline past the starting areas so I doubt I've ever been as high as AL39.

I do have several alts. I have a guild event to run tonight but after that I will load them all up and check their adventurer levels.

    @Lexie

I don't think this is from offline mode. I have no offline characters and no alts, and I've experienced this.

I think this is related to the granting of the 10k bonus XP. Basically - when you're due for your 10k XP - then when you zone, you drop many Adventurer Levels.

Logging out and back in fixes this.

I was planning on reproducing this again tonight - will update if I see this again.

    [7/10/2017 12:12:32 AM] AdventurerLevel: 53

(mobs appeared yellow to me when they should be green, I checked Adv Level, and logged out and back in)

(mobs now appear green as normal)

    From 7/11/2017

[7/11/2017 12:15:32 AM] You've just received 10,000 bonus experience points.

(Mobs became yellow to me again, but this time I didn't record Adv Level, I just logged out and logged back in)

I'm very very interested in what you come back with. Let me know if you use anything to 'artificially' bump up your adventure level as well, buffs, artifacts, etc. It may have no relation but just in case.

    @Lexie

FYI - I don't use buffs or artifacts to bump up my adventurer level.

I'll look for this again tonight. I'll record my Adventurer Level before and after.

I had this happen to me last night. I was using the ...damn.. Spirituality? shrine that increases my adventure level by 4 from a level 3 town. I only noticed it because my max health and focus dropped by a lot. My adventure level dropped by exactly 20 levels from 87 to 67 if that matters at all.

Zoning to and from Novia did not fix it. I had to actually relog. I happened to be on Novia at the time so I completely logged out from the game as well.

Edit: I have zero offline characters

So could this possibly be random encounter related WITH the daily xp....or perhaps just a coincidence.
Thanks guys, please keep the information coming on this....

Bug #: 48169 created. Marked critical. Thank you everyone, and please keep us updated on new details.
What we know: restarting the client fixes this. This is NOT a blocker but obviously still very important.

We're looking for a 100% repro, for all the details. It seems being logged in at the time the next daily reward is handed out is related, but we're wondering if there is more to this.
    Ya'll rock.

I appear to have hit the bug just now myself. On entering Owl's Head from Hidden Vale, my HP and focus just dropped about 100 points each (I noticed when I ran out of focus way early while running to the bank). From the chat on the screen, I received the 10,000 XP bonus right after zoning to Owl's Head. I checked my stats, and I went from adventurer level of 51 to 15! I do not appear to have lost any stats beyond HP/focus (strength, dex and int all appear normal). Teleporting to my home did not fix the issue, but exiting to the menu and resuming did fix the issue.

    Hope that helps :)
