[Resolved] Grusk kite quest from Kortreek

    Details: The map marker showing which platform to use the key on is not showing on map. Also the key did not work on any platform for a couple days and then it did after I tried it on every platform 2 times.

    @Buzzard Bait,

    a: make sure you have task highlighting turned on in settings > interface. the last couple of times someone reported that the markers weren't working for a quest, that was the issue.

    b: when you say you tried every platform, how many was that? there are five.

    c: if the problem isn't either of those and it's working now, we have no way to diagnose what may have happened. please report problems when you are having them.

    It sounds like you were assuming you could use any kite key on any kite platform, but that's not the case. Each platform only allows you to use it's one specific key for the quest.

    You didn't mention checking the compass. If you ever have problems finding a target on the map, I recommend checking the compass because it seems to be incredibly reliable even when the map might have an issue. The blue marker on the compass should have pointed you in the direction of the correct platform for your key.

    I found the reason the markers were not showing and feel down right stupid at this point for the report. The checkbox for show markers was unchecked for some reason.
