[Resolved] Highvale outskirts(another step for an elder, 3 steps towards the hexe)

Unable to get required quest components. After killing what feels like a hundred elder frost greists and Hexes they will not drop anything other that corpse wax and a few gold. The other things is that there is too many NPC guards at the 6 point ranch. As a melee character you dont have enough time to run to the frost greits elders(hexes) before the npc guards have killed them. Dont know if this a bug or oversight? Just unable to get the required quest items from those frost greists.

 

Did you check your quest inventory?

Amusingly, same thing happened to me too, but then I noticed the quest item was already in my inventory.

 

yea, i dont know how i overlooked it, could swear the items were not in inventory, but they were, so this was not a bug, just seemlingly an oversight on my part. Thx Jaesun
