[Resolved] Oracle Responsiveness

    1. Title: POT (and even the major) Oracle is not very responsive in conversations
    2. Reproducible? Yes, absolutely.
    3. Blocker? No, if one spams the same key word the dialog advances ...
    4. Details: When engaging the Oracle, either in POTs or the main Oracle elsewhere, ask the Oracle the key word 'Test' and you will find that the Oracle doesnt respond and needs to be asked that key word several times to proceed forward. I've experienced this as an ongoing issue for several years. It is not limited to that key word. Other words also appear to 'hang' but move forward when asked again as a key word.
    5. Steps to Reproduce: Engage Oracle, say 'Test' and see what happens. Try other alternatives as well.
    6. User Specs: (RAM, CPU, GPU and Operating System only): The latest.

    In Options > Interface> Uncheck Enable Conversation Close-Ups will typically fix that problem. No Idea why.

    @Beaumaris , I believe Anpu probably has the best suggestion for your issue, but here's another thought: The first time you collect loot in a game session, there can be a long pause in the game while the loot system handles things. This can be happen when looting a chest, a dead body, or collecting a quest reward (even if it's only experience and no actual inventory item) during an NPC conversation. If your issue happens when the first thing you do in a game session is talk to the Oracle, and it only happens once in her conversation, then you may be experiencing this loot-pause issue. A way to test is to collect loot at least one time before going to the Oracle, such as from a chest, skinning a rabbit, etc. Then if you talk to the Oracle and she doesn't pause, we know that the issue was.

    Indeed, this proved to be a part of the 'loot-pause' issue for first time looting in a game session. Thanks for the good insights!
