    it used to be that under the scene name on the compass, you saw your mode. it was blank for multi, but would show solo/party or solo-only as appropriate. example here.

    @Alley Oop , this is how it appears in Windows-- the online mode below the town or adventure scene designation. Is Linux different?

    they must have fixed it in that last patch or two. it's there now, but i swear it was blank under the town designator before.
