[Resolved] Steam login cannot authenticate

    I'm trying to log in via Steam as I always do; password is unchanged and I am currently logged in to Steam and when I try to log in, I get put in a queue and a few seconds later I get kicked out of the queue with the message:

    "The server is unable to authenticate your Steam credentials. Please ensure you are running the game through Steam, while logged into the Steam client (not offline mode.)"

    Just a heads up. I'll try logging in with my SoTA password but thought you all should know.

    there were steam issues with some other games yesterday so it is likely that this was all a steam issue

    If the steam authentication server is offline, just try logging in through SoTA only please. Not much we can do about steam's downtime but it looks like this is resolved :)
