4. Details: I have a few Tailoring recipes in my inventory that I can't learn. My tailoring level is 68 and the required level to learn the recipes (according to their description in-game) varies from 60 to 65. The recipes are Bone Boots, Bone Chest Armor, Bone Gauntlets, Bone Helm, Bone Leggings, Spider Legs and Wizard's Hat.

Proficiency level? if you mouse over the skill it will show the proficiency level, this does not match the level of the skill.

 

So these are different things? I have never noticed that before, my bad.

Is there any way to calculate the ratio between skill level and proficiency so I can know when I'll really be able to learn the recipes?

it's a curve. they're equal at 50, but level 100 is about proficiency 70. you can gain extra proficiency, though, from devotional buffs, high-level tools, and expert crafting stations

 

if you mouse over the skill, it will tell you the proficiency.

 

Let us know if you are still having issues with this. Proficiency (the green text on the skill) is what you want to refer to.
