4. Details: Crash with PC Restart after a short playtime in Psilocybin Lair. Even after a fresh PC and Client start. So far 4 crashes. I can Play hours in other Scenes. No crash outside the Psilocybin Lair.
5. Steps to Reproduce: Log in Psilocybin Lair and kill some enemies.

Windows 10 Pro 15063.540
Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Xtreme Driver 385.41
Intel i7-4790K @4,0Ghz, 32 GB Ram, OS and SotA on SSD

 

I have had same problems for weeks now. I purchased new laptop, everything went well for couple of weeks but then problems started. Usually my laptop restarts itself after 2-5 minutes of gaming (so it is not about heat), usually only once and then I can play without problems for hours. Two times My laptop has restarted itself (First time I was in Vauban pass and other time City size basement Adultima) continuously and at first time it helped when I put my graphic settings to fastest...

Before laptop restarts my game freezes, screen turns white (sometimes but rarely white/yellow bars which are flashing), teamspeak works couple of seconds after that so I can inform my friends that I am crashing.

I suspect that it is something related to SotA and my craphic card, if I am not wrong, many has had such problems....

With my 6 years old computer I never had such a problems....

My laptop is:
MSI GT73VR 6RE Titan

Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Display: 17,3" Anti-Glare, 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz
Prosessor: Intel Core i7-6820HK, 2.60 - 3.70GHz, 8MB, Quad-Core
Memory: 16GB DDR4
Craphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, 8GB GDD5
2 x 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD

 

I got similar restarts during Heaven Benchmark 4.0, so at least my whole problem is not SotA related...

 

This is important info. Now you can start to narrow it down even more. Theres benchmatks for just the cpu and memory also, that can help to isolate it.
Get some temp monitor running, like realtemp or temp monitor, both free.
With those, keep running benchmarks. If cpu or gpu hits over 90 C, its starting to be bad.
Memory also causes sudden crashes because there can be bad sectors in it.

It can also be power supply. When gpus really need power, ps could short out and thus shutdown or crash ps.

On crash, bluescreen, theres crashdump made. Theres some online services that can analyse it. You could find the driver name that faulted and thus maybe find something interesting.

I crashed only in the Psilocybin Lair (4 times), never in any other scene.
I wasnt there after I wrote this report, but I will check tomorrow morning.

 

After 30 Minutes in Psilocybin Lair: hard crash with reboot, no blue Screen

Nothing special there all the time:
CPU usage around 23%
GPU usage around 34% with spikes up to 60%
GPU temp 55-68°C
RAM usage 45% constant, no change at all

Because, this is the only scene where I have this problem, I will simply not going there anymore.
