    If the stone is in water form, it means it was already activated and you can't interact with it. It will return to ice form in ~10 seconds (maybe 5, I forget now). But you need a key to activate the ice stone. There's a pop-up message if you don't meet the requirements.

    The beam is just shot, if you have the right order.

    @Puuk,
    it could happen, a player clicked stones off, while I do soI don't know, if it works also?

    Ah, right, my mistake. I think there's four of those stones, according to the riddle. Seawolf set that up. AFAIK, there isn't an order to turning them on, but I could be mistaken. @Sea-Wolf to get confirmation.

    Yes, the riddle tells the
    Death, Earth, Fire, Water
    You can't switch on the second before the first

    What I asked for:
    If I switched the first and second on, and someone else switches the first or second off, can I go further or must I start again at the first?

    From my understanding of how our networking works, you will need to start over. This is the intent, as it will encourage cooperative gameplay, though I'm sure it will also result in a good deal of trolling. This is also why I included the beams of light, to help players keep track of what switches are on. Its important to know if someone resets your sequence, and they can also be used by teams of players to coordinate a faster solution.

    Yes, you do have to turn them on in proper order for the one in Highvale Outskirts. Selecting the wrong switch should turn it on very briefly, before shutting of and resetting the puzzle. Not all riddle doors are sequence puzzles however.
