Title: Meticulous Harvest Interruption By Creature Attack Results in No XP's for Harvest
Reproduction Rate: 3 times noticed so far/ 100% though-- 3 for 3.

Details: I noticed I received no XP's for a successful harvest when I was in meticulous collection mode and interrupted by being attacked by a creature. By the nature of what is needed, this is a rare event. I receive the XP's for the harvest if I break meticulous collection on my own. Yes, my skills window showing Producer XP's was open.
Steps to Reproduce: Be in meticulous collection mode and be attacked by a creature. Perhaps two PVP players on voice chat could set up a more controlled test. If a player attack will also result in no XP's, that is.

So if you are harvesting, get interrupted, then go back to harvesting you don't receive any XP at that point once you are finished? That is the exact behavior you are seeing?

I have the same problem also. Never reported it, but it's been going on for a few releases I think.

 

@K1000 Do you see this with everything? With mining, foraging, skinning, etc.

 

@Lexie I can confirm I get no XP when meticulous collection is interrupted during mining, skinning , and harvesting wood. I can't confirm for the other skills.

Exact behavior for this bug report:

1. Enter harvest mode.
2. Succeed with initial harvest, enter meticulous mode.
3. Get interrupted while in meticulous mode.
4. Harvest item shows a green cursor once I return.
5. Get items, no XP.


Now, there is a situation where this can happen and I do receive XP's. That is:

1. Enter harvest mode.
2. Succeed with initial harvest, be set to enter meticulous mode.
3. Get interrupted when the initial harvest bar is at 100% and still yellow. That is, the meticulous bar has not started, yet this (full yellow bar) is an indication that meticulous mode is in play.
4. Harvest item shows the appropriate tool cursor when I go back to it.
5. Finish meticulous collection, get items and XP's.

I reported the latter situation some releases back.
