The DOT gets applied even though the attack has missed or was dodged.
I might be totally wrong but what you dodge is the impact damage not the dot.
This is correct. The DoT ticks of rend can be dodged/parried/glancing blow'd but the application of the DoT itself always happens.
Shouldn't that be dodged to? A wound that never got applied causes bleeding? Doesn't make sense in my book
Well it is in the middle. There are many skills rely on this mechanism. They need to tweak all the similar skills.
