[Responded] 'Target instance no longer open to new players'

    This has now happened to me twice, once maybe a couple of weeks ago when I didn't think much of it, and again today. The rough sequence of events below is based on today's experience, I can't remember whether details were 100% the same last time.

    • Logged in with no trouble, selected a character who had logged out in Outlaw's Run earlier today, Start On World Map.
    • Character started in Mistrendur as expected, went to the cross-continent galleon, selected Ardoris.
    • Toggled to my browser window to do something else for 30 seconds while I waited for the loading screen to clear (as I normally do).
    • When I toggled back the loading screen was stalled at 50% and the message below said the target instance was no longer open to new players and I should get my friends to teleport to me (or words to that effect, I forgot the exact phrasing). Note that I was still waiting for the galleon to drop me off in Novia.
    • I was then fully logged out as if the game had loaded for the first time - back to the start screen, select Play Game, enter my password etc. My character was still in Mistrendur standing by the galleon, this time he had no trouble getting to Ardoris.
    I don't know whether this is definitely a problem with the overworld, I guess it could be to do with moving between Ep1/Ep2 continents. I managed to grab a copy of the log and pulled a chunk which appears to cover the period from just before I was kicked out to when I logged back into Mistrendur, I can forward the full log if it would be useful.

    @Vaentorian, i showed this to @Chris and he thinks this is due to system resources. current minimum specs list 12GB ram and you show less than 8, some of which may be taken by the integrated gpu.

    Okay, thanks for passing that on @Alley Oop , I was unaware of the current minimum requirements. I don't suppose it makes any difference that I'm showing 15.3GB available virtual memory (from SSD) in Windows' system info?

    Still seems a bit odd that within minutes of launching the game there would be a RAM issue when the only other program running is Chrome... but I can live with it if it's not a bigger issue than my relatively lightweight machine!
