[RESPONDED] Username and password fields unresponsive

    Title: Username and password fields unresponsive.
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No.
    Details: When I first load the client, the username and password fields are unresponsive for a few seconds. This actually started in R45.
    Steps to Reproduce: See "Details".

    OS: Linux 4.10 Ubuntu 17.04 64bit

    For those of you interested in technical details, that 2 second pause is Unity loading a "built-in" shader when you first click on the edit field. It turns out that these "built-in" assets are the cause of a lot our load time woes. We've made some strides to remove these assets from our game for R46, but a lot still remain. This bug won't be addressed for R46, but I did make a workaround. All asset preloading will wait until the "Connect" button is pressed. Please re-post if you see any side effects of this change.

    ...the r46 release instructions say all the built-in shaders were removed...

    Unfortunately not true. :( The release instructions have been edited to reflect that.
