Ring of Fire DoT Duration Reduced

4. Details: 5 stack of Ring of Fire DoT only lasts for 6 seconds once they leave the ring. Spell Says 20 second base time and before release 41 it used to last for around 30 seconds with a 5 stack. (other info) GM Ring of Fire, GM Highly Flammable, 183 fire attunement. Immolation 5 stack DoT will last for 16 seconds based off a 10 second base time on the same creature.

I've noticed this as well. I think the math is around the wrong way - it should tick the damage every 2 seconds not reapply the dot every 2 seconds.

 

Mine last for 4 secs and does NOT refresh during the dot effect. DoT need to run out completely and then the check is made to apply new dot (often seems to lose sec or even two, before applying the DoT again - this might be lag issue).

DoT should refresh every tick if the target is in the ring.

Im GM in RoF and Immolation, with 160 attunement. For me as mainly fire mage this is glaring issue and its not only thing bugged in Fire right now

 

Also casting on gust ball, I get usually 13 damage ticks. Even the base spell for me should be giving 12 damage ticks (duration 24 secs) AND then 9 ticks from the lasting DoT. This means that RoF is doing only bit more than ½ damage atm.
