Saltwater Fishing in Lained (release 98)

Lained will be one of the three towns participating in the release 98 saltwater fishing tournament. The town can be accessed via a small boat off the northwest coast of Norgard, just west of Skrekk or if you'd like to zone send a friend request to my avatar D'Laein Lachlan.

A release long crossover event will be running, the three anglers who submit the longest fish will be awarded a trophy and crowns, 1,000 for first place, 500 for second place and 250 for third place. Plus a choice of an angler prize each (see below). There will be a random draw with five winners of 50 crowns for anyone that participated during the release but did not catch a winning fish, along with one random winning a choice of an angler prize. Each prize winner will also receive a fireworks pack.

The fish will need to be placed in the heraldry chest found on the city water lot next to the main docks, all fish will be returned after completion of the event. Prizes can be inspected in the drop chest.

As the town doesn't have sufficient lots for the maximum devotional fishing blessings I've decided not to place them so be sure to get your blessing prior to arriving. There is however a fishing merchant at the main docks.
