Salvage Pattern Toggle

    Simple check box on next to the salvage button on the crafting dialogue to toggle whether or not you want to try to salvage for a pattern.

    If true, no change. You either get one or you don't.

    If false, then you never get a pattern and always get materials.

    Great idea! I am loathe to have more patterns for the worst possible armor, and not enough resources from scrapping them!!!

    It's not just that.. I think you should have more control over the results. If you know what you want to do as a crafter than that's what you should do.. not get some random result. If you don't want a pattern than you shouldn't have them randomly thrown at you.. Logically there would be a conscious effort to a create a pattern.. if you chose NOT to put in that effort then no pattern right? Crafting has too much RNG and not enough skill/choice.

    could be a seperate recipe: salvage for scrap, salvage for pattern

    At the very least make an item always return scraps, whether or not it returns a pattern.
