The new prices are awesome! This pretty much alleviates any complaint I had. It'll be interesting to see what the changes do to the player marketplace.

Understandably it may need to be tweaked again either up or down, but after crashing the economy, I'm excited to see what happens with this latest pricing experiment.

hehe well from what I've seen the prices on many vendors stayed the same throughout the whole thing anyways.

Hopefully it leads to more sales and new inventory once in a while.

I pretty much exclusively npc vendored in my home town of Port Titan, the changes are drastic.

Some data points for sellback prices.(at the OH blacksmith)
    Build 444 -> R32 long bow of 22 durability sold for: 73.
R33 Patch 474 long bow of 22 durability sold for: 38.
R33 Patch 476 long bow of 22 durability sells for: 63.

So, after the "fix" we're still down to ~86% of previous R32 prices. (or ~14% lower, however you want to say it)

The prices "feel" ok to me right now, not sure about everyone else but even though it's still a nerf overall, I'm not complaining.

Does max durability factor into price or just current? Sorry at work and just curious.

No, it seems like just current durability does, here are some numbers:
    Lesser Staff 3/24 - 9gp
    Lesser Staff 11/25 - 12gp
    Lesser Staff 63/80 - 27gp
    Lesser Staff 4/17 - 10gp

That's about right. During r32 I made a small fortune hawking long bows from easy kobold drops. Averaged about 75 gp for >20 durability. Averaged 3-4K a trip. Those were the good times.
Hopefully the economy will loosen up a bit now. :)

My only fear is, that many merchant-players now up their prices, because "everyone now got soooo much more money" and they want a share of it... That won't help either...

Let them up the price, don't buy an itrm until you think the price is appropriate.

From what I've seen before, people won't increase price much unless their inventory keep getting wiped out.

I think merchant players will just be happy there is any money to be had at all. Vendor sales were super tight before the patch.

Sorry but you are missing one big point, there was also a max durability nerf on all drops so while a 22 durability may be 86% there are some higher durabilities that you cannot even get now.

22 durability is about max now, which is the other main issue

Halberds definitely decreased quite a bit since R32, but I think they're fine where they are now regardless. I used to get around 100 gold, depending on durability, for them from the blacksmith in Ardoris. Now he gives me around 65-70 average depending on durability. Which is much better than it was before this patch.

Now I'll actually have some gold to buy things on the marketplace and will do so. I haven't bought anything since the vendor sell prices were nerfed since all of my gold was going towards casting reagents.
