Sergeant Sedgewick: Iron Ore quest bug

Title: Sergeant Sedgewick does not recognize that I have 5 Iron Ore in the "give" window.

Details: Sergeant Sedgewick asks for me to bring him 5 iron Ore. I put the 5 Iron Ore in the "give" window but it is highlighted red. (see pic linked below). The quest will not complete and the "Give Items" button does nothing. Clicking the "Cancel" button closes the window, but the 5 Iron Ore no longer can be seen in my inventory. The only way to see them again is to close the game down and re-launch and login again. Offering Sergeant Sedgewick more than 5 Iron Ore (I offered 8) did work and he took 5 and left me with 3. It seems that the quest cannot be completed if you offer him the exact amount he is asking for.
