Weak Shield of Air. Basically converts health damage to focus damage. But the transfer rate isn't that good. I forget what it actually is, but it's like 1.0 or 1.1 I think. Whatever the number is, you'd multiply incoming damage by that and apply it to focus instead of health. If it's 1.0, then a 100 hp hit would drain 100 focus. If it's 1.1, then a 100 hp hit would drain 110 focus. Also, doesn't stack with Shield of Air.
Huh, so using Elixir of Potency and the Exlixir receptiveness makes it worse... I received one yesterday and it was at 1.5 or something... Ouch.
Lol... also you can't cancel it. If you ever drink one on accident you may as well take an hour break. Focus runs out in seconds... then wet noodle.
Which beg's an off-topic question, which is: Why can we cancel the effects of some things and not others ? Intentional or oversight ?
I think the theory is there are potions you buy with crowns, so it's a failsafe against "oops I accidentally dismissed this thing I paid for." So potions aren't overwritten or dismissable. Though, there are also foods you get as rewards, so who knows...
i think it's more a matter of commiting to the choice of what to consume. there ARE cancelable potions: shrink, grow, green grow, jump, disco... the party potions that are limited to non-pvp pots so deliberately have no actual gameplay effect.
Ah. I've never used any of those. Anyway, it's annoying. Wolf potion, for example. Can't use three speed glyphs, so if you drink one, and use Berserker Stance, any other speed glyphs will overwrite the stance, and you're stuck with wolf speed for an hour.
Funnily enough this has been my "feature of the day". With my current Pugilism build, I am using Chaotic Feedback to sing Savage Sonata much faster, but I can't cast Feedback when I have Berserker's stance up. I ended up using a Wolf speed potion + sprint in my deck, which then allowed me to Feedback back up! Was happy about it until I remembered Flurry!
Just submitted a change so you can manually cancel/dismiss a large variety of potions. Hopefully a QOL improvement for a few folks. R91 unless it patches in early.
