Shield of Crystal: Visual overload

    I'm glad that spells are being revisited and their graphics worked on. However, the change to the crystal shield in the earth tree is a bit... much. It's rather distracting, and makes it a pain depending on viewing angle to track targets, etc.

    I like it personally -- I hated the other one, where spikes grew out of your body.. looked like it should be causing damage to attackers rather than preventing damage..

    It also induces migraines for some folks, which isn't great.

    I have to agree.... just went into combat with this as a melee character and keep track of targets is a bad. While the old visual was ugly... it was not a distraction like this is.

    I agree, it's too much.. very distracting visually.. not only is the surround too broad.. the constant swirling/circling effect grates on you

    Yea i have no idea why they don't allow spell effects to end. The constant looping of the effects gets really old. Everyone runs around with a purple circle now .... soon swirling ball of blue shards.

    Its for PVP reasons for easy identification as to what a person has on.
