Silent Movement

Silent movement and camouflage don't work after awhile. I can click on silent movement several times in a row and nada (in a row after the cool down of course) . This happens every time. No matter where I am, after a few uses it stops working .... no fails, it just doesn't work ..... yet i noticed it will still gain in skill .... any response????

 

I hit 33 in camouflage but it seems like the advancement rate is around 80th level. It's been a 5 days since I hit 33rd and I use it over and over and it barely moves. I've leveled through the 30s in other skills much faster. There seems to be something wrong with it. At least for me.

Yes it has been happening quite a bit lately, I sure hope that someone takes a look at it..... would be nice if we heard from a dev on this....

 

PLEASE fix Silent movement and camouflage please ..... they don't work as intended ...... I need them to be working ugh!!!! at least acknowledge that it is broken ..... It very RARELY goes off for me ....

 

Please will someone please answer the problem with Silent movement and camouflage not going off .....doesn't work the majority of the time .... VERY annoying .... may I get a response from a dev please ....

 

Bug submitted. Are you still observing this as of latest patch? How easy of a repro is it for you? Could you provide system specs for us to reproduce as easily as possible getting close to your exact case?

Ok been busy, with family, back now, tried it several times today and both seem to be working now, except, I don't know if this is meant to be or not, but neither camouflage or silent movement will work if you use the light spell ... makes it a tad hard to silent move at night without it ....

Will be doing further testing today on it, will use it a lot to make sure its ok, will report back tonight .... and Thank you for the response ...

So far so good, as long as I don't use the light spell..

 

Having a light source cancels these effects. That is by LB design.

 

If not complicated to code, I'd recommend an indicator of why it failed - or at the least include in the tooltip that using a lightsource (spell, torch, enchanted equipment) nullifies the effects of the skill.

I'm not in-game, the tooltip may already include this information!

 

is there a reason this gains so slow I cast silent movement as often as possible and it will take almost 2 hours for one gain at level 65. No other skill gains this slow.
