/smoke emote, Pipes, Tobacco + emote macro

So my Avatar grows really nervous from not beeing able to find a single pipe in Britania

- I imagine /smoke emote where my Avatar has similar animation as /drink
- I imagine I can find/craft pipes
- I imagine I can plant, forage, cut and fill my pipe with the tobacco
- I imagine sitting on the marketplace, chilling and puffing small clouds of smoke from my trusty old pipe

I REALISE THAT SMOKING PROPAGATION OR SIMULATION IN ANY WAY IS VERY CONSIDERABLE, and should be therefore toggable option in the menu.

 

I would also love to have the ability to set a macro for "emotes" (text states above head in ** notation and different colour). Why?

- I may want to smoke *puff* *puff*
- I may want to sing a song
- I may want to have a public speach
- I may want to tell a joke
- ....
- ...

There should be some limited extend of course, so peeps would not be able to spam like plagued NPC

 

Although I don't smoke (or toke) in RL, I definitely did enjoy pipeweed in LotRO with the different kinds of smokerings you could produce.

 

Me, myself and I like this suggestion (that's three more people!) As a pipe smoker in real life, how cool would it be to have my avatar do so as well. Sadly, I'm afraid the USian anti-smoke police would ban the game here in the US. That's despite the fact that pure pipe or cigar smokers have the same longevity expectation as non-smokers. I suppose in all fairness a /P.U. emote for people passing by would be only fair.

 

I support the idea of Pipes and pipe tobacco that can be grown and harvested for my Wizard who won't leave home without his bamboo pipe

 

Hmmm.... maybe it should be called something besides tobacco? LotRO calls it pipeweed. How about a native American name such as Kinnikinnick? http://www.nwplants.com/business/catalog/arc_uva.html
